Close To My Heart Damask Divas November Bloghop

Welcome to Keepable Paper Creations - a place where your creations are always "keepers".  You have "landed" on my contribution to the Damask Divas November Blog Hop.  My name is Brenda Zimmerman, and I am an Independent Consultant with Close To My Heart.  I hope you are enjoying all of the fabulous ideas coming your way!

If you came from Sharon Chapman's November Blog Hop Page, your are in the right place.  If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check the list at our Damask Divas Blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.

This month, I chose to create a project that would lend itself to the whole "I'm Thankful For" theme.  Using one of my favorite Cricut Cartridges, Artiste from Close To My Heart, I was able to complete this cute and chunky mini scrapbook from start to finish.

With the Dimensional Elements Album Pages that come in the Artiste bundle, I really had little thinking to do... except, of course, deciding which paper pack I was going to use... but even that was pretty much decided for me.  The gorgeous patterns of Huntington sang to me as I quickly cut them to the exact size I needed for the album.

Then, with some double-sided tape, I pieced together the pages and embellished to my heart's content.  Oh - I almost forgot.  The embellishments?  They're not only available on their own, but they're also available in the Huntington Workshops on the Go Kit along with the paper pack. This kit includes everything you need to make your project your own. Talk about easy!

You might see a couple of flowers in and around this album.  That's one of the terrific inclusions of the Cricut Cartridges available exclusively from Close To My Heart.  They are super easy to make, and you can choose any color you have on hand to coordinate with your project.

Don't have a Cricut but want to make this adorable album?  No worries!  You can absolutely trace around the Dimensional Elements Album Pages onto your Huntington paper and simply cut the shapes out and adhere them together.

One of the fun side notes of our Close To My Heart Paper Packets is that you can use EVERY square inch of the 12 x 12 patterned sheet, and THEN some!  I cut the strip of words attached as the leader/label tab on my patterned paper to make the page above.  Very festive and fun, and adds just the right touch to give my album more character.

Make your own Keepable Paper Creations with the help of our Huntington Paper Packet or Workshop on the Go Kit.  Both are a great way to highlight your memories of this warm and fuzzy time of year!
