Have a Cricut?  Check Out A Couple Of My Favorite Tools To Use With It...

Having a Cricut has definitely changed my life.  I know - that sounds pretty heavy, but it's true.  It has opened my eyes to sooo many different activities and possibilities!

I'd just like to share with you, that if you have a Cricut of your own, you just HAVE to use one of the tips I have for you here.  They will save you OODLES of time and perhaps even some headache.

First of all, if you have just ONE cartridge, then I hope it's ART PHILOSOPHYARTISTE or ARTBOOKING from Close To My Heart, as these three cartridges, and I mean any ONE of them, will suffice for most, if not all, of your paper crafting needs.

If, however, you have more than one cartridge, then LISTEN UP!  These tips are for you!

On the Cricut Website, if you don't already know this, they have every cartridge you can possibly think of for sale and/or reference.  What I do is, any time I purchase a new cartridge, I go to the cartridge on the Cricut Website by first clicking on "Shop", then I click on "Image Gallery", and then on "Cartridges".  I can then find my cartridge and click on it.  When the cartridge page comes up, I then click on "Details" in the middle of the screen, and at the bottom of the Details screen, is USUALLY a clickable link for the "Digital Handbook" or "Trifold".

For a terrific example of this, click on the following link:
http://www.cricut.com/Shopping/detail--Cricut-Close-to-My-Heart-Cartridgereg;--Artbooking-0-11938.aspx

After clicking on one of the two links listed above, a digital version of the handbook that accompanies your cartridge in its box comes up.  You can then "Save As" and put it in a file on your computer for easy reference.  This is a great way to become more familiar with your cartridges, saving you both money and time, as you won't buy cartridges as often when you realize how many items are on the cartridges you already own!

Secondly, when you need a shape, but aren't sure which cartridge it is on, or you want to know if you have a particular shape at all, make the following website your "go-to-first" resource .  My Cut Search is my favorite Cricut helper, by far!  I don't know how many times it's saved me, and it may even surprise you, as well..  For example, you might think you haven't got any airplanes, when in fact, you do.

Check out http://www.mycutsearch.com for all of your Cricut cartridge individual shape searches.

For those of you who are in love with Cricut Craft Room, I love it as well.  An additional resource for all of the cartridges in the Cricut library, it is completely free to use, and has each cartridge and their buttons exactly as they sit on their respective overlay.  I, personally, prefer having a file on my computer that I can look at because it's in color, and it's easier for me to see the relative sizing of all the cuts on the digital version of the booklet I have saved.

Figure out which tip/tool you like best and USE it.  The most important thing here is that you USE and ENJOY your Cricut.  If you have any questions or want me to provide you with more tips on the Cricut, please leave a comment below.  I will be happy to help in any way I can.

I hope you have enjoyed my info sharing here.  I love these methods "to my madness", and I hope you visit the sites above and see for yourself how easy cataloging your cartridges can be for easy reference.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Take Care Until Next Time!
